Mobius57's Diary Notes

Entry Title Note Posted
Camalot

The walls around me are great and tall,
and I stand so puny beneath them all.
As I gaze upward, I see a leg
and then another and then an egg.
I think I'd best stand in another place
lest I wind up with egg on my face.

There Be Dragons Here

My comments yesterday were apparently totally out of the context in which your writing here was conceived. You write this diary so seldom that I have no coherent understanding yet of your intent because I don't remember from time to time. I had to go backwards over the last 5 or so entries just to see the connection and to separate this from your other diaries in my mind. Every time you present yourself in a new light, I'm amazed by your insight and imagination. And from what you wrote to me about what I wrote to you, I think maybe we're not even in the same conversation.

Protecting the Seams

I wrote the first three lines of the poem below actually to describe my perceptions of your poem, but once the flow started it gained a life of its own. I still thought of you and your message of this entry throughout what I wrote.

I read your gentle assertion aboe and realize that I need to be more careful of things I say to you and others in terms of respecting boundaries. I'm not saying you had me in mind, but the lessons here are ones that I see as applying to me nonetheless. There are some topics that are private even when visible just beneath the surface. There are ways to see and yet not see.

(not see?--reference to Hitler unintended)

Protecting the Seams

Sharp and edgy as though forged from steel;
solid and well defined as though carved from stone;
clear and delicate as though crafted as fine crystal,
the fortress stands in pristine beauty
surrounded by lush greenery that invites approach
even as the parapets stand armed and ready for attack.

One would have thought the clinging thorns
would ward off cruel intrusion,
but Beauty in the tower still draws
the most determined princes
and haunts the beast within.

The Wisdom of Secrets

Hey Mobius!

There's no need for you to feel shame for there are those among us who are much more perverted than you'll ever be. For instance, take E Pluribus Unam.

Standing Alone

Mr Dicus! You goofball! Another brilliant gotcha! And you certainly did get me!

Your style betrays an elegance hidden behind your humble persona. As for the eloquence, it lives up to your reputation. You have a brand of writing that is all your own.

Please publish an anthology. Christmas will be here before we know it and we'll be needing gifts for our family and close friends. It would be nice to give something as meaningful as your writing.

Standing Alone true friends are difficult to find instead most of the times you find manipulation and deceit... better lonely than with bad company

Other Peoples Money If other people's money smells best the moment they hand it over to you, I'm assuming they're paying you in advance for lending them a hand.[NightListener] 2008-03-21 20:47:38

Other Peoples Money

Hi Mobius,

I just found your diary and read all your entries.

They say that curiousity killed the cat, since I am an angel not a cat, I am sure that my curiousity wont hurt me.  I am curious about who Is Mobius and what I can learn from him.

You have an interesting way of writing.

take care

Cigarettes Monkeys and Men

Did anyone ever tell you that the corners of your mouth turn up slightly when you get pouty?

I don't know that they do, since I've never seen you. Just wondering if anyone's ever told you that.

At Home On The Hill

I'm sure glad someone still has a strong constitution. Lord knows ours has been weakened by Executive design. If we're not careful we'll all be trading in our faces for computer chips and eating tacos from trash cans. Please pass the salsa, R7D4. Thanks  --C4PU

Beauty in The Window If you could tell her you love her
and somehow she could love you

If your duck were Maxine instead of Max, Mr. Dickus, would you and your duck go down more easily?

Beyond the Circle

I love your entries.
You do what writers do best.
You turn things people take no notice of, into things that are pretty.
Awesome writing!
